We were invited back to direct the after trailer for the Las Vegas edition of the Electric Daisy Carnival. We chose to capture this festival in 5k on Red Epics in an effort to demonstrate the beauty of the festival. Festivals like this are why we do what we do and it is an amazing feeling to be a part of this event.

In direct support for Tiesto, Porter Robinson toured California for the final 6 stops of the 2011 College Invasion Tour.

Anticipating great shows in California, Aaron and Neil from Slush Management invited Eyewax along to document the last 6 shows of the tour. I had just gotten off a tour bus with Kaskade a couple weeks before and I settled back into bus life well. The shows were all amazing including a standout unannounced house party in the college area of Santa Barbara.

The video was released in two phases. Upon completing the video, we pitched a teaser to Porter’s management showing some footage from the unannounced show. In order to drive some more hype and attention to the full length piece, we released the teaser two weeks prior and linked them together on the release date.

Both pieces features music from Porter Robinson’s debut artist album ‘Spitfire’ released on Skrillex’s label ‘OWSLA’

Being the first year that EDC was held in Las Vegas made it an amazingly unique moment in our scene’s evolution to be a part of. Our concept was to highlight a bit of the journey to EDC that many fans and artists made as well as the experience they were greeted with when they arrived.

An album trailer for Kaskade’s new album ‘Fire & Ice’

The trailer was created for play before the Electric Daisy Carnival Experience Documentary in theaters nationwide.

The footage was taken from our travels over the last year or so with Kaskade.
